TIAS, Motifs, Doily, Dragon, Bookmarks, Snowflakes and Hearts

The Guidelines
1. Permission to copy. When a participant joins they are authorizing us to copy their pictures to be shown on the challenge blog.
2. There is no need to advise the Challenge Team to let let us know when you've added things to your blog. We check all of the blogs when we do an update.
3. We can't keep track of how many motifs each person does. You may post articles of tatting that you don't plan on including in your 25, or you may post a pair of earrings and count each earring as a separate motif. We don't read minds, so it's up to each participant to tell us when they have reached their goal of 25.
4. We know from past experience that the challenge is addictive. If you finish and plan on doing it again let us know so that we continue to check your blog on a regular basis.
5. Whenever you get a chance don't just view the pictures here, take the time to click on the links to people's blogs and read all about what they are doing, instead of just getting the snippets of it here. People like it when you take the time to visit their blog and comment on their work. A lot of the fun of the challenge is that we get to know each other and encourage one another to try new things.
---------------

JB has TIAS day 9 done.

Mariya tried another thread for her Hibiscus pattern. She went on to tat a number of polygons using 3, 4, 5 and 6 rings. Day 9 of TIAS is looking decidedly caprine.

Ginny spotlights the embroidered and tatted quilt that is being auctioned off at Hector this year. The other special item is a cookbook containing favorite recipes, including the meals they've enjoyed in previous years.

Heather is showing how to block a large object and filming it gets very tedious so she's wondering if she should show all 33 minutes of sticking pins in.

Marta in honour of the Chinese year of the dragon tatted 2 versions of Anne Bruvold's dragon.

Bonnie's UIU challenge required buying a charm for the end of this bookmark, but it did use up size 30 Roses HDT from Yarnplayer.

Bree tatted a variation of another snowflake she has seen before (looks like one of Jon's designs) in Lizbeth size 20, Cottoncandy colour.

Cindy is emptying shuttles and tatting hearts. This one is Hearts on a Paperclip by Ellen Lai. Then she was tatting the Clover Drop Heart by Nancy Tracy on Be-Stitched and accidentally attached in the wrong place resulting in a trashed piece of lace.

Diane was determined to get Christina from Tatted Bookmarks - cross-shaped by Lene Bjorn done correctly. She used size 40 Lizbeth, color #164, Blue River Glades. In spite of tatting a lot of Mary Konior's Spinning Wheel Glass Mat, she had to cut off the last ring and chain and re-tat because she joined the last chain the the wrong ring.

Fox is tatting in red and white as requested, but she wishes this was all red because it's a gorgeous shade in #40 Lizbeth to which she added beads. Then there is Day 9 of TIAS. Mary Konior's cross is completed and looks gorgeous except for one recalcitrant bead.

Mica made Whirlaway Snowflake from Tatted Snowflakes by Vida Sunderman  with Kreinik braid #4.

Sherry thinks the eye on her TIAS is a little wonky. Maybe it's just a little droopy.
