Garter, Alligator, Motif, Edging and Flowers

Magda has been tatting a wedding garter for her friend's daughter white Aida cotton thread No. 20 and sapphire beads woven into a flower. A narrow elastic band hidden by satin ribbons finishes it off. She made the top section narrower than the bottom section which she thinks will make it better.

Orsi had to try out a new motif using the split jk but she doesn't like how this one turned out, but she does have some ideas to try.
Brigitte has completed a bookmark from Diana Stevens Animal Bookmarks, A Tatted Zoo. This one is the alligator tatted in Lizbeth size 20 thread in medium and light leaf green.
Diane took 3 tries to get this viney edging that her sister wants. The pattern says to join the ring to the picot of the first ring in the four ring cluster which she didn't do and wonders if she should. Has anyone else done this pattern and can offer insight?
Isa tatted a pair of beautiful flowers using a pattern from the italian magazine Lavoro Chiacchierino nr. 13.
