Snowflakes, Shamrocks, Edgings, Motifs and Butterflies

Agasunset is still channeling Alice in Wonderland with some whimsical flowers.
Linda tatted this shamrock using the pattern Betsy Evans shared with the HBT list, using Flora 20 and variegated Lizbeth 20 Christmas Green Mix.
IsDihara tatted Hope using size 40 Lizbeth threads, in black #604 and Falling Leaves #100. Here's a sneak peek from Heather's forthcoming book a large swan tatted in Lizbeth size 40 Black #604 with hematite seed beads. Alan is thrilled that he has been nominated by the Mississippi Arts Commission to participate in Southern Artistry.org, a national resource which promotes southern artists. Isn't his card with the silver tatting, just exquisite? Keep watching Alan's blog, he has plans for a giveaway soon.Diane has been paying attention to where she started to use the variegated thread and she thinks she likes the one on the right better, but she may have to do some more variations to know for sure.
Fox tatted some sweet socks for the new baby to come. She finds she likes the simpler patterns these days. I agree that for something like a little girl's socks, simple is definitely better.

Heather was inspired by an embroidery drawing to create this lovely piece.

M tatted Minaret from the book Tatted Snowflakes Collection by Jon Yusoff in Lizbeth 40, col 124, Spring Garden. She has a birthday coming up and has posted a wish list of books on her blog. Does anyone have any suggestions for other books or any input on those she has listed to help her decide?
