Doilies, Hearts, Earrings and Leaves

IsDihara tatted a design from Georgia Seitz's pattern book, "Tatting on the Edge...and Beyond" using Sherry's HDT. She also shows us her Witchypoo Shoe teapot on a lovely tatted doily. Mica gives us a sneak peek at a new project she is working on. Linda has been working on a CQ Christmas stocking for her niece and she has used beads, embroidery and tatting to create it. Krystle is swimming in her own HDT and is selling off some of it in her Etsy shop. While waiting for more supplies she crafted some clever display/advertising/gift package/shipping containers for her earrings. Wanda had a combined visit the family, play live in babysitter, trip to see her daughter who is recovering from surgery and on the plane ride she tatted a couple of Heather's heart pattern. Heather gives the pattern so that people can tat a heart to encourage her friend Tracy, who is going for a double mastectomy. Aileen created a new bead tray to work from by covering a small tray with sloping sides in some bright orange felt. She immediately tried it out tatting these black and white earrings from an online pattern. The earrings are her 25th motif so Aileen has finished another round of 25 motifs. Diane has been steadily working on the Beatrice doily and it's coming along. She also found some snowflake picture frames that can be displayed on an easel, hung by a ribbon or attached with a magnet. The opening is only 1.5 inches so the tatting needs to be small. So she's saving them for next year. Heather recovered enough from being sick to use Jon's method for encapsulating a ring and made a pair of earrings. In celebration of her birthday she has a giveaway of some charming flat shuttles. She has created a collection of coil earrings that encapsulate wire for a lovely 3D effect.
Sherry has sustained an injury that is keeping her in pain and unable to do much of anything but she did manage to create some new hook pens displayed here with matching tatting.
TattingChic shows us her fall display of the leaves she tatted last year around a pumpkin candle.
